The anthracite Hematite, also known as bloodstone or red-iron stone, is characterised by its slight natural magnetism and an accordingly metallic luster.
Occurrence: North America, Brazil, Venezuela, England, Switzerland, Germany.
Effect: As one of the oldest healing stones, on a physical level, it supports intestinal iron absorption and the production of red blood cells, helps with injuries, anemia, low blood pressure, high blood sugar level, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, vasoconstriction, arteriosclerosis, muscle soreness and potency disorders, improves oxygenation and cell structure, strengthens liver and spleen.

The Moonstone‘s name derives from its white base colour and its rainbow-like, shimmering effect in the reflection of light within its internal structure. An effect created by its alternate layers of albite and orthoclase feldspar.

Effect: Relieves physical discomfort from joints and tension, regulates the female hormone cycle, gives bodily comfort and a restful deep sleep.
On the psychological side, it encourages emotional expression, brings warmth and openness, eases distraction, improves concentration, observation and empathy.
Name
‘Samatva’ from Sanskrit – समत्व – in yoga stands for equality, the mental condition of equanimity, serenity and inner stability, which cannot be shaken by external influences; for evenness, uniformity, harmonious and balanced relations. Samatva represents the means of highest realisation and is characteristic of independent completeness.
